The Power of Solar Marketing
As the Solar Marketing Director of Go Solar Power, I have been shouting from the rooftops to anyone who would listen all the praises of going solar. Each day I would post beautiful images of homes going solar. I would share statistics of all the money that people would save going solar. Then I would top it off with all of the benefits of why Going Solar is the number way to start being more Green!
Everyday I would create benefit after benefit for why going solar is the best decision for a homeowner. Having helped convince thousands of homeowners all over the southeast to go solar, when it was my turn, the decision was easy.
The New Roof
Probably one of the major hurtles for me to even consider going solar in the past was my old roof. I have a 30 year old Tile Roof in Southeast Florida that was screaming to be replaced. When we finally had a big leak penetrate our upstairs living area, we knew it was time for the roof replacement. Replacing a roof never comes at a good time, especially when you do not have a little savings set aside to replace said roof. However, I never worried about that. I knew that I am able to include funds for my roof replacement with a Solar Loan!
Solar Marketing Design
Going Solar with Go Solar Power is an easy process. We have the latest in Satellite technology software to get a picture of my house and to design a complete solar power system. Once I plugged in how much electricity my home consumed, the program did the rest. The most important number was the savings that I would see over the life of having a Solar Loan Vs. Paying for electricity. My savings topped over $40,000.00. When I saw that number I realized that going solar is a no-brainer. Most of all, why do I want to keep paying the Utility Company. With Solar, I am investing in my home to something that I own.
Mosaic Loan
As a leading seller of Solar and Tesla Powerwalls in the Southeast, Go Solar Power works with some great financial companies like Mosaic. We are able to offer (and I took advantage of) the lowest Solar Rate in the industry, 2.99%. I was able to include the extra funds that I need and even with those funds, I am still saving money over paying for electricity! The best part is that my entire Mosaic Loan is eligible for the 26% Federal Tax Credit.
Mosaic gives you a payment discounting the tax credit I will receive to make it easy for me to start saving from day one. I then have 18 months to either pay back Mosaic the tax credit I will receive from the Government, or I can spend the money. My payment will go up, but I get extra funds at the low 2.99% rate. The numbers just made sense from the moment we spoke to the great people at Mosaic.
The Installation….(to be continued!)
We have just got the permit and started our installation. Go Solar Power has worked seamlessly with my roofer to install the roof mounts before my new tiles were installed. The mounts have been seamlessly placed on my roof using the latest sealants. The tiles then went up beautifully around the mount. Our first Solar inspection was yesterday for the mount installation, and it passed with flying colors. Keep a look out for my next blog on the installation itself and the beautiful Triple Black Solar Panels and AP Micro-Inverters that will be installed.
